Baby Bump Pictures

On 8/27/10 Wayne and I got to see Ellie through an ultrasound! She's head down and as low as she can get without entering the world, she's prepared to make her appearance in a few weeks! Ellie's estimated weight is 5 lbs 11 oz. She's growing at 1/2 pound per week so if we go to our due date she is expected to be 7 lbs 11 oz at birth.

Dr. Tan also gave us the labor talk and made the point clear to Wayne that when the time is here, drop Lisa off at Triage and do NOT go into the parking garage...delivering in the parking garage is very messy and you have to call the Fire Department - it's not worth it. :-)

We are now visiting the doctor on a weekly basis to monitor progress. We can't wait!!

Coming to the end...

At our last prenatal appointment the doctor said no more running. Even though I felt good after 34 weeks, the bouncing is too hard on my body. So it's strictly aerobic pilates, yoga and walking (inclines on a treadmill are still good, too).

Coming to the end of week 36 we are definitely getting more excited!! The baby showers are over, the nursery is set and laundry is done! Now we're just waiting for Ellie to make her appearance! We've been having periodic contractions and our next doctor's appointment will show us an ultrasound of the baby to determine position and size. We also have our labor talk with the doctor.

There's no turning back now! :-)

Dakota

Dakota has been our baby since March 2007 when he was our first foster dog. After 3 weeks of fostering, we failed at fostering and adopted him.

He greets us at the door every day and guards us during thunderstorms and whenever the pizza guy comes. :-)

We're really looking forward to introducing Dakota to Baby Milczarek!

Together Again...

Eric was able to come into town for a week so the three of us got together on 8/3/10. It's the first time since Christmas we've all been together.
