Ellen's 3rd Birthday! (9/9/13)

Ellen turned 3 on 9/9, but we celebrated with friends on Sunday 9/8 at the Water Works Indoor Water Park in Schaumburg!

The hour in the party room was a bit chaotic, but we made it through introductions, pizza, cake, ice cream and presents before we headed over to the pool area!
What a blast!

Watch me, Dad!  I can do the Lazy River all by myself!

Donley's Wild West Town (9/2/13)

Mom, Ellie and Trey picked up Grandma and headed out West, to the Wild West!

Donley's Wild West Town in Union, IL is perfect for kids 3-10 years old.  Ellie took awhile to warm up but came out of her shell to ride the ponies, explore a tepee, shoot some arrows, take a canoe ride, ride the train and ride the roller coaster!

The reenactment of a Gun Show was a bit much for Ellie - after hearing the first gunshot, she covered her ears and said she wanted to leave.  Mom thought she would come around, but nope, mom was wrong! So we left the show and went and played on the playground until Grandma and Trey came out.
