Bowling for the 1st time! (9/23/12)

Lisa Plack purchased a Groupon and invited us to go bowling with them!  We jumped at the opportunity and Ellie had a great time! 

I think family bowling outings are in our future!

Ellie's 2nd Birthday Party (9/16/12)

Ellie hosted her friends at Monkey Joe's Play Place for her 2nd birthday party! 
She loved the dirty guy dressed as Monkey Joe while some of the kids and a certain Uncle weren't fans.

Monkey Joe's is an indoor playplace with numerous inflatable slides and bounce-houses. 
And since all the kids were under the age of 4, the parents were able to go play as well!  Some dads came out with battle wounds (aka rug burn) but everyone seemed to have a lot of fun!

Play date!! (9/14/12)

On Friday afternoon, we went to visit the Figenholtzes for a playdate!
Ellie, Stella and Mara had a blast having a tea party (where coffee was served according to Stella), playing catch with a football, throwing tinsel all over the floor and dancing in it and plying outside!

How kids are different! (9/13/12)

It's amazing how kids are so unique even though they're raised the same!

Ellie loved walking the hund via the stroller and sitting in the pink bouncer.
Trey loves walking the hund in the Baby Bjorn and enjoys the swing far more than the bouncer!

Ellie is TWO!!!! (9/9/12)

Ellie turned 2 on Sept 9, 2012, which was also the first Bears Game of the season!
Without a house, we raided Grandma and Grandpa Svejcar's house.  :-)

At Ellie's 2-year appt, she weighed in at 26 lb 9 oz (50th percentile) and is 36 in tall (80th percentile)!
I think that means she's tall enough to ride rides at Disney World!

She's right on track with all developmental skills, sitting near the top of all categories!

Mom made cupcakes and decorated them herself - not too bad for sleep deprived!

Ellie woke up to balloons on her floor and she LOVED it!! 
We then went to the park where she slid down the slides and swung on the ropes!  After that we went swimming with daddy!!!

It was a long day - time to roller-coaster sleep in my swing!
