Playdate with Jacob! (3/18/12)

Since it's 80 degrees in March, we decided to have a playdate with Jacob Plack at the Lincoln Park Zoo.  It was a great day, sunny, not too crowded and Ellie had a blast running all around! 
The saddest part of the day was learning that the Penguin House has been permanently closed!  Wayne and Lisa got engaged in the Penguin House on 4/15/06!

Ellie loved watching the Polar Bear swim laps.  He kept diving whenever he came near the window!

We decided to spend a day with the GPs.  We brought over lunch and helped them hang their TV on their wall.

My new activity - carrying my monkey and purse everywhere

 Ellie's friend, Stella Figenholtz, turned 3 on 2/24 and she had her birthday party at the Glenview Fire Station!  We had fun touring the fire house, watching firemen slide down the pole, eating cupcakes and playing with friends!
