Sneak Peek!

Here's a sneak peak of Santa this Holiday Season!!

Happy Halloween! (10/31/12)

Mommy and Daddy had to go over to the new house in Barrington to get some estimates on mechanicals, so Ellie and Trey spent the morning at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  By the time Ellie woke up from her nap, Mommy and Daddy were there ready to take her trick-or-treating!!

Ellie enjoyed being a penguin and Trey was not at all thrilled about being a chicken.

We started trick-or-treating in Algonquin and after a few houses Ellie learned to say Trick-or-Treat, Thank You and Happy Halloween!  As soon as we left one house, she would yell "next house!" and "Halloween!!".  She was a hit!

Next stop was Grams and Gramp's where we went trick-or-treating again!  Ellie liked to pick suckers and candy that we already had at home, so mommy and daddy were somewhat disappointed.  After hearing all the other parents talk about the loot their kids bring home, mommy was looking forward to some good candy.  Oh well - maybe next year!

Trey is 3-months old!! (10/28/12)

Trey has hit the 3-month mark!  Amazing how fast time flies!
This milestone means mom is no longer on maternity leave and is now spending time at home using vacation.  Only 4 weeks and she's back at work full time.

Goebberts Pumpkin Patch (10/24/12)

The weather was nice and a mid-week visit to Goebberts meant we avoided the crowds!
Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Ellie and Trey enjoyed a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, seeing a Giraffe and even riding a camel!

After Ellie's nap, we carved a pumpkin and Ellie dug right in to take out all of the guts and seeds!  We baked the seeds and put a candle in the pumpkin and called it a night.  :-)

Ellie got the hang of feeding the goats!

Ellie was not a fan of the giraffe!

Guts?  I'm not scared of no stinkin guts!

Great-Grandma's Birthday (10/23/12)

Great Grandma O turned 87 on 10/23/12 so we all went over to her house to celebrate!

Pumpkin Patch/Apple Orchard (10/5/12)

The Milczareks decided to brave the brutal wind to enjoy the day at the All Seasons Apple Orchard in Woodstock, IL.

There were numerous activities including tube slides, inflatables, pig races, zip lines, tractor rides, apple picking and a pumpkin patch!

I'm taller than daddy!!!

Try to keep up, mommy!

Can I keep him?  He obviously likes me!

Eating the apple I picked from the orchard!

Waiting for the tractor to take me to the Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch - and it's taking FOREVER!

Lunch time!  I ate apple cider, a pumpkin bar and 2 apple donuts!

Lost in a field of pumpkins - where are the kiddos!?

Just went down the BIG tube slide, Ellie decided she better hold tight onto mommy afterwards!

Game of Hide and Seek!  I think Trey's going to win!

Bowling for the 1st time! (9/23/12)

Lisa Plack purchased a Groupon and invited us to go bowling with them!  We jumped at the opportunity and Ellie had a great time!

I think family bowling outings are in our future!

Ellie's 2nd Birthday Party (9/16/12)

Ellie hosted her friends at Monkey Joe's Play Place for her 2nd birthday party!
She loved the dirty guy dressed as Monkey Joe while some of the kids and a certain Uncle weren't fans.

Monkey Joe's is an indoor playplace with numerous inflatable slides and bounce-houses.
And since all the kids were under the age of 4, the parents were able to go play as well!  Some dads came out with battle wounds (aka rug burn) but everyone seemed to have a lot of fun!
